Edible Exfoliating Facial Scrub:
extra virgin olive oil
honey
oats
lemon
sugar
almonds
First find an empty jar, preferably glass; I use an empty 4 oz jar from my hair pomade. Crush up about half dozen or dozen of almonds; I use a blender. Put that in a small mixing bowl and add about an equal part of oats. Add in 1-2 tbsp of the sugar( a coarse and organic sugar is best). The more sugar and more scrubbing, if I chop my almonds too fine then I use more sugar. Mix up all the solids real well. Then add a tbsp of honey and enough olive oil to make it smooth. I usually squeeze the juice of a whole lemon in. Make it your own and just figure out ratios as you go along.
I like the sugar because it's less abrasive than the almonds which are sometimes difficult to chop to the right consistency. Sometimes I exclude the almonds and oats if i'm in a rush. This is a great natural exfoliating facial scrub and you can make it with common kitchen items that are way better for you than chemical filled products you'll find at the pharmacy.

Natural Cleaning Solution:
-1 quart of white vinegar
-1 cup of thyme r rosemary or half and hlaf
-lavender, sage, lemon, orange are good essential oils
-grapefruit seed extract for extra cleanliness
Soak the thyme in the vinegar for about 24 hours preferably in a tight sealing jar (mason jar). Strain the liquid into a spray bottle. Add about 10-15 drop of your essential oils and some of the gse if you have. Shake it up and spray away!
This is a great all purpose cleaner especially on surfaces you clean frequently. It helps cut back on the amount of chemicals floating in the air of your home. For tougher jobs sprinkle some baking soda over the surface after you spray it to help move the dirt easier.

Alfalfa Iced Tea for Summer Heat:
Fresh squeezed lemonade is great! Alfalfa makes it better. All you'll need is:
-clean water, preferably alkaline 8.5 or higher!
-your typical beverage jug
-lemons
-dried Alfalfa
-grade A maple syrup
I use maple syrup as a sweetener because is taste great and contains zinc and maganese which is great for your heart and immune system.
First you must make an Alfalfa infusion. Do this by adding a cup or two of Alfalfa leaves to boiling water. Let it cool off in at least a quart sized mason jar in the fridge (I prepare mine for the next day).
Then, at least 4 hours later, strain the water from the leaves which will make great compost. Now squeeze in those lemons and add some syrup to taste, don't be scared to make it too sweet ;)
Enjoy your chilly super healthy lemonade!
